Christian Kallen has been involved in film for over 35 years, getting his start as a film critic for the Santa Cruz “Good Times.” (Among the movies reviewed back back then include The Godfather, Jaws, Nashville and Carrie.) More recently he’s been holding down the “In the Dark” movie blog at pressdemocrat.com, and he writes and does photo galleries for Healdsburg Patch. He is the author or co-author of several travel books and many travel articles as well. In addition, he’s produced many short-form internet videos, for Microsoft, MSNBC, Yahoo and others. He is currently working on an hour-long documentary about an environmental hero. He lives in Healdsburg, CA.
